  <dc:title>Peel Brow School</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Peel Brow Board School was commissioned by the Walmersley and Ramsbottom School Board. It opened in 1901 replacing Shuttleworth Board School. In 1903 it became Ramsbottom Peel Brow Council School. From 1929 there was Peel Brow Junior and Infant Council School and Ramsbottom Central Council School on same campus. In 1948 there were called Peel Brow County Primary School and Peel Brow County Secondary Modern. Plans for the M66 led to the building of a new Primary School on Fir Street in 1976. In July 1979 Ramsbottom County Secondary School pupils transferred to Woodhey High School. The old school was demolished in 1982</dc:description>
