DescriptionPostcard showing the floods at the bottom of Ainsworth Road and Water Street, Radcliffe. On the right of the photograph, the shop-keepers of Bratt & Hobson and J. Rider & Son are stood in their doorways wearing long aprons while further down the street a crowd has gathered and a horse and cart are making their way up the street. Three children are stood in the middle of the road and the flood water seems to be about ankle deep.
