1 x photograph of a young man in the World War I uniform of the Royal Engineers (no hat). The armband, which would have been a light blue band over a dark blue band, indicates that he was in the signals division. The photograph was taken by Arthur Ingham, Garden Street, Bury and would have been done at his own personal expense and is not an official military photograph.
