DescriptionCopy of The Times article dated 26/7/1919 and copy of a Bury Times article of 26/7/1919 re his funeral at Summerseat. He rose from being a teacher in Summerseat to be head of the Midland Bank in London, and a negotiator for finances for WW1. He was also an MP for Heywood. Includes a letter dated 11.10.1994 from Muriel & Chris Watkins, Muriel being a descendant of the Holden family.
